Clemens Rumpf announces the launch of Deep Village Digital Records. First release is the hit single “What Will I Do”

Clemens Rumpf has teamed up with Willy Washington to bring you “What Will I Do” featuring the vocals of Caroline featured on “Can’t Get Away” by Mood 2 Swing & Tom Craft.

After the success of his EP “Jazz in the House” and his first album “Ain’t Nothing But House Music” both released on Reelgroove Records, Clemens Rumpf is back with his first release on his own label. “Willy Washington brought energy from New York, and Caroline’s vocals turned this song soul,” Clemens said. “This song is dedicated to Caroline……RIP.”

Deep Village Digital Records will be known for its fresh, funky and soulful electronic music. “I wanted to start something new that builds on what I’ve done,” said Clemens. “My plan is to build my own catalog of music.” Deep Village Digital Records will provide a creative platform for established artists as well as upcoming artists.

In 2010, Clemens Rumpf created his own label, Deep Village Digital Records. Having worked with many independent record labels, he decided now was the time to start a more personal venture.

The idea, behind Deep Village was for Clemens to have a creative output to release fresh, funky, and soulfoul electronic music.

“I wanted to start something new to keep things exciting for me, says Clemens. My plan is to build my own catalog of music.” While I was playing at the clubs, sometimes I would get demos from artists.  I ‘d like to be able to release
some of their music to support these new artists with material of any style, whether it be:  funky, tech, soulful, vocal,
instrumental or quality house music”.
